The process of creating our aria in lockdown has been captured in a new documentary by Alisdair Kitchen, alongside the other composes and singers involved in the project. Read MoreMy new commission for the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, entitled Landsker, was due to be premiered at the St Davids Cathedral Festival in May 2020, but this sadly Covid-19 means this has now been postponed. The piece is named after the ‘Landsker Line’ - an imaginary line that historically divides English and Welsh-speaking Pembrokeshire (where I’m from) in half. I can’t wait to share it with everyone, but all in good time. More soon!
